The University of Miami Summer Scholars Program in Engineering and Technology offers high school students a unique opportunity to delve into various engineering disciplines and earn six college credits. Participants engage in college-level courses, hands-on experiences, lab work, and field trips. The curriculum covers topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computing, and applications of Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, and Architectural Engineering. Students will explore problem-solving, engineering mechanics, computer simulation, and laboratory work. Specific areas include basic principles of automobile engines, solar energy, fuel cells, aerodynamics, propulsion, flight dynamics, structural engineering, environmental engineering, and research in engineering.
