The University of Miami Summer Scholars Program: AI, Cybersecurity & Computing is a three-week, college-level program designed for high school students completing 10th or 11th grade. Participants will delve into Artificial Intelligence, learning how machines think and make decisions, and explore Cybersecurity, mastering strategies to protect data and defend against digital threats. The program also builds strong computing skills, from programming fundamentals to problem-solving techniques that power modern technology. Students will engage in hands-on experiences, guest lectures, open discussions, lab work, and field trips. Upon successful completion, students earn six college credits. The program aims to provide an immersive academic and campus life experience, helping students explore academic passions and gain confidence in their future college and career choices.
Classes are held daily, Monday through Friday, with a morning session from 8:10 AM to 11:40 AM and an afternoon session from 1:10 PM to 4:40 PM.
